FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)

Method for investigating possible errors and risks of a unit under consideration and determining the expected consequences of these errors for the other elements and the function of the unit being considered. The aim is to minimize the potential risks by taking appropriate measures. A distinction is made between system FMEA, design FMEA, and process FMEA.
