Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) are production systems which allow production management and control in real time. These systems record and link operating, machine, and personnel deployment data and are generally connected to all additional systems of process automation within a corporation. The information gathered this way enables production processes to be optimized from the creation of the order to the finished product.

Based on current and accurate data, the MES executes the production activities. Data is available to all relevant areas, including via ERP systems, and provides the link between the management level and the plant level. All in all, the use of MES software ensures effective manufacturing and process flows, improves the operational readiness of the plants, supports the on-time delivery of production goods, shortens storage cycles and significantly increases cash flow.
